I’m sure everyone’s heard the saying, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.”  But I think that’s unfair to people who are illiterate.

What else do they have to go on?

  1. wineymomma says:

funny how we say that, then when we are teaching kids to read we tell them to look at the picture (or cover) for clues about what we are reading!

Thanks for stopping by my place!

  2. Wulfgar says:

I think you described over half the reviewers on Amazon….
Besides…there is always the porn industry….

  3. gingersrc says:

I am in agreement with everyone else. And very well said!!

And I also want to say thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂

  4. davidohh says:

  7. nonnie9999 says:

what about books whose covers have fallen off? do we then not judge a book by its flyleaf?

  8. 2twentythree3 says:

  9. annieepoetry says:

you are right. people should stop saying that. Books should be judged by the cover.

  10. Nick says:

It is ironic though how many decisions you can see from the design side of a product that revolve around aesthetics. Whats worse is people buy them…

  11. Oh HYSTERICAL. Dear god, I can’t stop laughing.

p.s. Let you in on a little secret. I sniff them. That’s how I know if they’re any good. (I’m totally serious, and I’ve passed this gift on to my kids.)
